A Forested Urbanization Proposal

If we are going to urbanize this area:

This is NOT the way to do it:

The best the city of Surrey has come up with for preserving biodiversity

This version that I propose preserves more habitat and biodiversity, and is a much more pleasant place to live, with pocket forest parks, birds, flowers, green spaces reminiscent of the huge forests that used to dominate:

I copied dark green areas BACK into Surrey's biodiversity plan
A citizen’s Neighborhood Concept Plan for the Redwood area

An area on the West side of South Surrey mirrors my plan:

It looked like this on the biodiversity study, and the city of Surrey did a good job preserving green areas. The scale is the same as the East side pictures:
